Barbara Clara, winner of Miss Italia Nel Mondo 2000, in Salsomaggiore, Italy.

The contest is advertised as the "Olimpiads" of Italian beauties from all over the world. The event, broadcasted by Italian TVs stations nationally and internationally, sees the winners of Miss Italia titles in many other countries compete in these finals.

Miss Italia USA 2001 will represent the United States at these finals in Salsomaggiore, Italy, on September 2, 2001.
